Yup….you got it right ! It’s the dressing up season, what with the advent of the Tamil month Thai, weddings are happening just everywhere.
And I love our weddings where we get to meet all those aunties, uncles with their typical question – “Do you remember me??” ย And I’ll be LOL-ing at that question, which repeats at every wedding !! ๐ ๐
Of course, the most wonderful part of wedding is the dressing up. ย To choose among the crispy kanjeevaram silk saris, the matching jewelry / accessories makes me all delighted and fills me with such josh. ย The weekend was spent happily dressing up and attending a wedding. And I look forward to another one this week.
It’s such a happy time for me, dressing up ๐ ๐
How about you ?? Do you like weddings and dressing up for them ?? ๐

If I answer that question, I would end up writing a long post…
Do you know how they say, when you have Raahu dasai, clothes and you would never get along? I have perpetual Raahu dasai.

I love weddings and the gossips we hear and see there too! But wearing heavy sarees during summer season is boring. Now, it the best season, in Chennai, weatherwise. I too went for a wedding on Sunday!

Sounds like fun! I have one wedding to go to in March, and I’m looking forward to it. Can’t imagine a “wedding season!”

It’s been ages since I’ve been to a wedding. Reading this makes me want to go for one. More than the dressing up (I’m useless at dressing up), I love meeting up with cousins and relatives.

The dressing up part, no. Because I can’t stand to wear dresses. BUT I love a good wedding. I’m a weeper. I cry when we see the couple, cry when they kiss, etc.
