Thursday challenge, but posted on Friday 😀
This week Thursday Challenge’s theme -“TRAIL” (Trail, paths, roads, sidewalks, streets,…) – deals with one of my favs – long drives and this is my fav pic of recent times. The avenue of trees on either side of the road mesmerizes me. I love to hang out in this shade, anytime !
Now, isn’t it beautiful ?? 😀
We, as a family, are very faithful to and fond of many things, which helps us in converting our house to a wonderful home for us.
Be it the yummy fried crispy vadas, the sambar, the briyanis, the cakes and cookies that come out of the kitchen or the blessed sleep which only our bed can give us, even on those hot and humid days…..there are many such simple things which define our proximity and closeness to these walls which protect us and make us proud in calling it our home.
But there is this thing which out beats all the lists above and thats the faith that everyday will dawn good for us and this is where we pray for strength, happiness and the ability to face things as they come.
Our humble prayer space, the soul of our family, which makes our house, the perfect home. 🙂
And that’s my entry for this week’s TC – HOME (House, Favourite Chair, Things that make a house a home,…)
Shatabdhi Express had the honors of transporting the wonderful family of ours, to Mysore, from then we went by Car to Coorg. 🙂 While coming back to Chennai, there was this lovely rain and the big and spacious windows in Shatabdhi, made it a wonderful spectacle to watch and of course click. 🙂

That’s the theme for TC this week – WET (Rain, Puddles, Water,…) !!!
COORG – that was the place where I found myself, almost in tune with nature – enjoying the awesome scenery around me.
Just imagine yourself, waking up to the sight of coffee plants, the tall silver oaks, oranges, avacado trees – its amazing, I tell u. And every moment of the trip was so memorable, that I had difficulty in choosing which one described the Happy Me, for TC’s theme this week.
Then, finally, I chose this one, as this was the highlight of our trip – the time we celebrated our holiday and warmed up ourselves on a cool Coorg Night.
And that was just the beginning. It went on like this….the Bonfire celebrations…
Oh !! We had so much fun on that Bonfire night !!! A night to remember… 🙂
So, TC, this is my entry for this week’s theme – HAPPY (Celebrations, Parties, Gifts, Enjoyment,…)
You know, I was totally in a dilemma, the whole of yesterday and today too. Thats why I didnt schedule the post for TC. 🙂
The TC’s theme “BEAUTIFUL” (Attractive, Wonderful Colors, Hair, Smile,…), made me have a small argument inside my mind. One side favored colored clouds and the other side favored colorful food…..it was endless and I suffered it throughout the night.
But the foodie won finally today morning, after a tummy-full breakfast of idly and sambar. 😛 😛
So, here are the colorful Pizza’s made by elder one – she does take things seriously and does it creatively too….these Pizzas are proof of that.
And this one is certainly my fav tooo….
I just happened to click this picture 2 days back. Sort of love this flower, as this is most important flower to decorate Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi. It looked so fresh and beautiful, inviting me to click.
Now, as I am scheduling my TC post, I see the relevance to that clicking. Its perfect for the theme this week – SPRING (New Life, Green, Melting Snow, Pleasant Weather,…)

That was exactly my reaction, when I saw TC’s theme for this week !!!
Its COMPLEX (Complicated, Tangled, Intricate, Mess,…) !!! Oh dear, come on lets search the archives, was the instant reaction, as I am pressed for time with my comp.

So, finally the Complex problem is solved with all pics in place. If I get to the comp sometime, will surely write something too….theres actually too much noise at home – the TV, the Music System all going on at the same time…..not a good environment to think and write something. So, dear ppl, please bear with me…. 🙂
Anu once wrote in my comment section, for one TC, that I shouldn’t be searching my archives for putting up pics for TC !!! And my dear Anu, this week’s topic made me to just pick up the camera and click. Probably one major reason is that I didn’t have any pics to match the theme…. 😉
TC’s theme this week is “SOFT” (Pillows, Toys, Snow, Baby, Focus,…) and here’s my pic for this theme. 🙂
Oh yeah, they are more than a decade old….as the girls are still crazy abt it, esp the elder one. 🙂 And the teddy in the center – she calls him Santa, is the oldest of them all. 🙂

This week, TC asked us to Go GREEN !!! And so, I went !!! 😉
The Mango Tree beneath my home, is always a temptation to me. I always look to it to know, if the flowers have come, the tiny mangoes are out (to make mavadu) and the big ones are ripe enough to eat. 🙂 Summers are horrible – Mangoes make it tolerable. 🙂 🙂 Isnt it ????

These are my assets. Without which my best part becomes invisible. And of course, they are the ones who help me de-stress, whenever I feel like ranting…
U all know, how I like to be in my balcony and keep clicking those pics of clouds, crazily. But, so many times, I feel restricted by these boundaries. If it had not been there, I would’ve flown away from my balcony, alongwith the clouds…. 😉
How lovely it would be, if I dont have any boundaries ????? 😀 😀
