The heart yearns Solitude
As I settle into
Moments of self-introspection
Of friendships made
Of happiness shared
Of cherished bonds
Of cloud-watching
Of flower gazing
In those moments of happiness
I forget those innumerable
Little things that caused pain!
That moment
I seek the Gopuram
To guide me
To inspire me to stand tall
And not look at troubling grounds!
To help me in holding the higher self
Within!
To stand still
Irrespective of the turbulence…
To cherish the happiness
That is happening to me!
