Connecting with nature!

As I wake up everyday, I try my earnest to connect with nature – even if it is in a very small way!

To begin with
I like smelling my tulsi leaves,
touching the leaves of my balcony plants,
looking at the sky (quite the obvious one), wondering about the cloud patterns,
the color of the sky,
listening to the playful mynah,
trying hard to hear the other chirpers,
look at the branches outside my kitchen window and see if they look the same like yesterday or has there been a new branch…

– its endless but there is a strong connection with nature!

This connection uplifts me the whole day!

The lightening

Here is the connect
Shining and brilliant
Surrounded by black clouds
To show off the shine, probably…

Here is the connect
Between sky and earth
Clouds and sea
Heaven and here…

Here is the connect
Which is very short lived
But its pure bliss
To see and to capture on frame!

The other view

Grass is greener
On the other side…

The water is more blue
Than the sky…

The eyes see the difference
The mind makes a comparison
Its just so human…

But nature applauds
Both the green ones
And the fall colors too…
There is beauty
In dried up winter trees
For they represent
The upcoming spring!

Nature just lets it be
Both the bright blue water
And the reflecting sky!

For there is joy
In being in the natural state
Without comparison
Or Competition
And enjoying life
In our own pace!

Heaven inside!

I find a path
That makes me wonder
If it will lead me to heaven!

I see the trees
That seem to point
In that direction
Of heaven!

The grass that grows
Are looking for signs
Up above
To know the presence
Of heaven!

It was a perception
That came ingrained
With brought-up
That heaven is above us.

In reality,
There is no need
To search outside us.

It is inside us
In the simple act
Of kindness
In a smile
In a loving hug
Of a soothing word
In a kiss
Here is heaven
Among us
Let us show
The heaven
That resides in us.

The hues that lure!

I look at the hues
That lures me!
I fall for the beauty
And desire to hold them!

Setting sail
On unknown waters
And routes…
I try sailing
Towards the amazing hues
Like Moana on a mission!

It was never ending
And exhausting
The hues kept moving
Farther away
As I kept sailing!

I then realized
The truth of it all
To chase is not the goal…
For the hues in the sky
Are not to be held!

But to admire
To choke in wonder
To make it a memory
To feel the intensity
Of the beauty
That’s in front of my eyes!

I return to the shore
And let the hues fall on me
Bathe me in their light
And there ascends
A sense of bliss
Deep inside!

Geometric lines!

No…this is not a mathematics class!

Its that time of the day
When the sky showcases
How geometric lines
Can look good!

Its when the sky teaches
That learning to draw
Geometric lines
Can be fun too!

Those moments
Which inspire fellow fashionistas
A thing or two about
Making these lines
A part of their design!

Its when a simple sky lover
Is grateful
When a friend clicks this for me
Remembering
My love for the sky and cloud patterns!

The sky at dusk

Meandering roads
Silhouettes of trees
Some wavering clouds
And a sky at dusk
Each one competing
With another
To add beauty to this picture!

The artist called nature
Busy at work
With a flat-tipped brush
Dipped in glowing golden
Orange and yellow!

Strokes the canvas
Called the sky
To create this picture!
Showcasing the talent
And to reiterate
That there is no one
Better than
The artist called Nature!

Yesterday evening, as I was busy with some work, I peeped out of my window and saw this beautiful sky. I wanted to click and make it mine. But work kept me tied up and I missed to click.

And Universe has its way of answering those wishes. Within an hour, I receive this picture from a dear friend and my happiness knew no bounds.
