‘The Best thing in life is motherhood. 🙂

Don’t you agree, my mommy friends ???
There have been recent updates by my blogger friends and others that there is a baby addition to their family. And I am totally mushed with joy, shedding tears, thinking about the tiny bundle of joy in their life.
I don’t know what is that about pregnancy and childbirth, that makes my inside melt and reach out to even unknown persons !!! Whenever and wherever I see a pregnant woman, I pause to look at them, pray for a safe delivery, if possible wish them personally. If I know them, I offer to cook something for them. Its such a feeling of tremendous joy to give in to the temptations during pregnancy and if I can cook that tempting dish, there is nothing more wonderful for me. I’ve personally experienced it during my two pregnancies, to totally pamper the taste buds.
While the job of creation is always associated with the Super power of this Universe, here is one small way for a woman to hold a creation in her womb and see it grow !!! Amazing are the ways of God, who gives such ultimate joy to the woman holding a baby inside her. Every moment is unique and totally worthy to live for.

And its becomes more special as the days progress and especially as you start feeling the baby move and kick. The climax of it all is waiting to see the face of the baby, to whom the mother has shared everything starting from food, water, emotions, love – just everything.
What can be more satisfying than this motherhood ???
From that joyous moment of confirming my first pregnancy, I’ve cherished and enjoyed every moment of holding my baby in my womb, talking to her (Oh yeah, I sort of knew it 😉 ), singing to her, sharing things with her. Many people found me crazy then, but I honestly believed that my child understood me. She still understands me better. All those conversations were not in vain 🙂

The second one was equally joyous, with the first one tagging along everywhere with me, especially during the conversation times. It used to be a threesome and totally fun. The younger one inside will kick, the moment she hears her sister calling out to her. All the singing together had its effects and this second baby of mine can really sing well now.
Now, the girls are taller than me 😦 But I adore it 😀
They keep telling me “Ma, I know”, when all I want to do is teach them a few things more. But they learn things differently, which make me smile with pride 🙂
All these countless small things compound the joy and the satisfaction of motherhood !!! And I don’t think anyone can even debate on this !!!

Oh, that has nothing to do with motherhood. That’s simply because you are such a wonderful genuine person just the way you are! 🙂

Gosh! thats so wonderfully written..though I must admit, while I love being a mother, it does scare me at times that a different person is so entirely dependent on me for everything!

Ditto….I used to look at my new-born and be awed…here was a tiny scrap of humanity purely dependent on me for nourishment and everything else 😮

I know…I too felt that way, but then the conviction became more stronger to prove that trust to be a worthy one 🙂
Now, with teenagers around, I can discuss with them before taking decisions, after all they also know what’s going on 🙂
