Tasting the Peanut Butter Cookies…

Wifey : See, what I baked today ???? Peanut butter cookies. Will you try some ???

Hubby : WOW !!! Give me just one.

 

Wifey : (After Hubby bit into it) So, what do you think ????

Hubby : HHHmmmm……its got some nutty taste, which I am not able to place……hhhhmmmmm……probably some walnut or almond ????

Wifey :  🙄

Hubby : Got it…..its peanut, right ????? See how I guessed it right !!!! My taste buds are just damn good, I tell you. 😉

Wifey : 🙄

Hubby : And you should call them cookies….see, they are not as crisp as biscuits.  Learn such things from me….. 😉

Wifey : 🙄 🙄 Now, didn’t I tell the name as Peanut Butter Cookies ????  🙄 🙄

Hubby : Actually I am not so fond of Peanut Butter… *****and gobbled up 3 to 4 cookies***** 😉 😉

  7. 🙂 the thing is as a man its more to do with EATING .. which i would do 🙂 the complement to you is those 3 -4 cookies gobbled .. as they say the way to a man’s heart is the stomach 🙂

    sat bored
    till
    in a fit of affection
    she crushed them
    and
    drowned them
    in a sea of butter and sugar,
    to emerge
    with a makeover,
    pouting hot
    from an oven….

    Mesmerized by
    the aroma,
    he bit into one,
    savouring the nuttiness,
    saying,
    “Hmm. Something nutty ?
    Walnuts ? Almonds ?”

    And abashed,
    they simply dissolved
    in his mouth,
    preferring that
    to
    watching
    the lady explain,
    that walnuts and almonds,
    were not a patch
    on peanuts
    wrapped in love,
    sprinkled with caring
    proudly puffed in pride,
    made by a lady,
    for a great family,
    on a lonesome
    afternoon in Chennai…..
