Just thought about this, in my sleep….probably was dreaming of my kiddie days. 😉
If I get a chance to become a kid again, what are the five things that I’ll want to do ????
I loved the idea of becoming a kid again…call me kiddish or whatever, but I love to….
My girls want to grow up fast and skip all the studies part….while I wish to be in their shoes. Its always the human heart to want whats not there, right ????

I would love to become a kid again and enjoy…..
– the awesome combo of rice + dhal + ghee + rasam + veggie, without a feeling of guilt about calories / gas problems, and particularly would love to be fed by amma.
– being carried around by amma, on her hip.
– playing hop skotch, four corners and endless cycling with friends, on that road, where I enjoyed my childhood days.
– lying down on patti’s lap and listen to the stories, while she puts me to sleep, with her soft hands soothing my hair.
– doing all the mischief once more – climbing guava trees, bursting crackers standing on a wall and holding them in hand, break open the badam fruit from the neighbor’s tree, feed the stray dogs, get wet totally in the excuse of watering the plants, draw water from well and have a refreshing bath….Oh there are many more to do….should go and read all my nostalgic posts again. 😉

UmaS Reflections 
What I like most about being a kid is to choose to be irresponsible as and when needed ;), which I can distinctively spot in my kids right now 🙂 Then again, the idea of being totally taken care of – especially the oil massages, hot dosas straight from the stove, and all that… Being said that, I prefer my current situation than my kiddie times, being able to do my things own my own. Somehow like the freedom more, than having to follow the rules 🙂

If I say I want to be a kid again to my folks, the answer would why shd you, you never grew up 😛 😛 😛 The best part about being kiddie kids is not being self conscious at all whatever we do…haaaahaa..:P Now it’s like, what will that Mr or Mrs say or think or do!! really who cares;)

Interestingly enough I seem to have had a very boring childhood. I always stayed indoors on the day of Holi, was afraid of the park rides and not too much into sports. But yea even I have some fun memories of those days. Might do such a similar tag soon.

I actually loved school from my kiddie days. I loved going there, doing all masti coming back home with my mom waiting with fruits. Hanging out and really enjoying pampering of all.

Nice tag! The ghee rice, dhal, rasam combination is the best and yes, mixing rice or idly with 5 tsp. of ghee and swallowing is the best…agle janam tak wait karna padega!

I know the combo you are speaking about.. annam pappu charu etc.. lovely, aren’t they? It’s strange but north indians can hardly identify with this menu. That is what I missed the mosst when I was in north india for 2 years.

My kids also do not enjoy the childhood as much as I did, I think it is the pressure they face in school.
I loved my kiddie days, I think the most memorable memory I have is of laughter. My friends and I would laugh at no reason for hours. Now I look back and wonder, what was so funny?

I think I am the only one who loves the present life more than childhood days 😀 😀 Even though I love those days I love being independent and I think I am more on that now also I become fun lover over the years..
