I believe…

Life is never smooth

The hardships never cease

But whats that which keeps me going?

It’s the amazing thing called BELIEF.

Disappointments galore

Sometimes so many at a time

But I manage to overcome

With this thing called BELIEF.

Failed relationships and Hurting words

May put me down

But its all for a while

I learn to feel better with this thing called BELIEF.

Bad communication misfires

I presume and they assume – attitude

But all goes well

The moment I BELIEVE.

Life disrupts our happiness

Of our comfort zones and friends

But I learn to find new venues of joy

The moment I BELIEVE.

People might ignore me totally

Or tease me till it hurts

But I learn to smile

The moment I BELIEVE.

Yes, I BELIEVE.

I believe that good things will prevail, after a spell of bad ones.

I believe that happiness will be mine, when I learn to look at things positively.

I believe this Universe listens to my pleas and wishes.

And makes those happen, in which I believed.

I believe in the positivity of accepting the worst

And believing for the best to happen.

I believe that the dried tears will turn into flowers

And the bad moments flurry away, like a clearing mist.

I believe that when life failed me sometimes,

It’s bound to give me good things in other times.

I believe. I wait for the time to come.

After all good things are destined for me too.

Time is the healer, on whom I depend.

To believe for better times to come.

  2. – Claassssiicc !!! Very well crafted !!! Thanks.

    – BELIEF is the “ray of hope to create harmony and happiness” !!! It is the “life jacket” for a man stuck in the “sea of problems” ; TIME is the sail required to reach the “shore of happiness”!!! The waves mark our sinusoidal “short term” moods of “pursuing or giving up” !!!

U have reminded me of the song “Yaanai-in balam ethilae, thumbikai-ilae; Manushanoda balam athilae, nambikai-ilae”. I enjoyed listeningto this thru’ the funnel-loudspeaker played @ my village temple in Markazhi (those days). Now, I frequent less to my native, which has turned super urban – I stay “rural” with the BELIEF that the “past would show up in the future”.

Phew…… That was a long stretch of a comment !!!

    1. Thanks – this comment is all the more interesting bcos, some see this as “malarum ninaivugal”; some see this as “pazaya panchangam”. ha..haa….lol!!!

The world is abundant with duality –> good-bad, pain-pleasure, light-dark, understanding-mistunderstanding, kind-cruel, heaven-hell, rich-poor, humble-arrogant…….etc…etc — all these co-exist. It does not stay “static” within anyone; the perception keeps changing depending on the mood/state of mind!!!
